- A simple laboratory test to measure the amount of starch present in the combining adhesive per unit area of corrugated board is described ( 1 ). The method can be used to isolate and measure the adhesive at the double-face and/or single-face locations.
- The test requires an enzyme to react with starch. The reaction is influenced by the dextrinizing value (DV) of the enzyme.
- This method, formerly T 531 om-81 , has been reclassified as a Classical Method.
